    Job Overview: As a Cloud Security Engineer at Indebted, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security solutions to protect our cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and industry best practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Cloud Security Architecture:
      • Design and implement cloud security architecture, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and secure configurations.
      • Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
      • Implement security controls and solutions to mitigate risks and threats.
    2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Security:
      • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates and scripts (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) with security best practices.
      • Automate security checks and compliance audits in IaC pipelines to ensure secure deployments.
      • Implement continuous monitoring and logging for IaC environments.
    3. DevSecOps Integration:
      • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline.
      • Implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines and automate security testing (e.g., static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing).
      • Foster a culture of security awareness and best practices across the organization.
    4. Incident Response and Threat Detection:
      • Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks for cloud security incidents.
      • Monitor cloud environments for security incidents, anomalies, and threats.
      • Coordinate incident response activities and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution.
    5. Compliance and Governance:
      • Ensure cloud environments comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST framework).
      • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and compliance checks.
      • Prepare and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to cloud security.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security, with hands-on experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Skills:
      • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and best practices.
      • Experience with cloud security tools and services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Cloud Security Posture Management tools).
      • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security tasks.
      • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
      • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Familiarity with security incident and event management (SIEM) tools.
    • Knowledge of encryption technologies and cryptographic protocols.
    • Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
